Polish Office for Competition and Consumer Protection has concluded that joint foundation of a company by PGE, KGHM, Tauron and Enea will not hinder the freedom of competition in Poland.
On 11 September 2014, PGE EJ 1 sp. z o.o. concluded an agreement with AMEC Nuclear UK Ltd who will provide technical advisory services for the investment process aimed at the construction of the first Polish nuclear power plant of approx. 3000 MW capacity.
PGE EJ 1 sp. z o.o. has completed the public procurement procedure of competitive negotiations involving publication and selected the winning bid for „Providing Technical Advisor (Owner’s Engineer) services to support PGE EJ 1 sp. z o.o.’s first Polish nuclear power plant development program with an installed capacity of approximately 3000 MWe”.
On 29 May 2014 the Supervisory Board of PGE EJ 1 sp. z o.o. appointed Ms Angelina Sarota as Vice-president of the Management Board of the Company, effective as of 30 May 2014.
On 17 Feb. 2014, four bidders submitted tender offers within the framework of the ongoing Owner’s Engineer selection process run by PGE EJ 1 sp. z o.o.
